LECTURER / CONSULTANT (Project Management Practice)

Requirements:

• A good university degree in any relevant discipline (a Masters or higher degree is preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years relevant industry experience directing, managing or leading IT projects.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good presentation skills
• Good interpersonal relationship skills and a good team player.
• Certified project manager, such as CITPM or PMP.
• Proficiency with MS Project or other project management tools.
• Experience in the following would be desirable

a.      Project process improvement programmes (such as PMO)
b.      Cost estimation and cost benefit analysis.
c.      Software development methodologies, such as the Rational Unified Process and SCRUM (or other Agile methods)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach Master of Technology, professional and executive courses in project management.
• Participate in student examinations, student assessments, student project supervision and student recruitment.
• Research best practices in project management and participate in consultancy projects with industry
