Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts (BTHR) is a leading upscale resort owner, developer andoperator of a number of highly acclaimed and multiple award-winning resorts and spas throughout the region. To date, BTHR manages and/or has ownership interests in more than 20 resorts and hotels, 60 spas, 60 retail galleries and two golf courses. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and qualified individual to fill up the following position

Corporate Director

GENERAL

• Coordinate & organise information on the development of pre-opening hotel concepts in collaboration according to the opening timelines
• Assist in technical assistance reviews of layouts, functionality of hardware and other associated decisions
• Improve the guest and associate experience in areas which are integral and unique to the brand such as identifying the signature standards and operating concepts that are unique to the our branding experience
• Develop the requisite materials and training system necessary for the rollout and refreshment of Signature Standards
• Align guest experience operation and design items and ensure the requisite materials and training systems are in place for their implementation
• To incubate, monitor and rollout worthy new initiatives that sustain a competitive advantage
• Brief and coordinate with Hotel Team on the ground on preopening concepts
• Leverage the operations talent of the group and assess their potential for future development

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelors Degree or a Post Graduate Degree with Professional Registration if relevant, or MBA, would be a distinct advantage
• Minimum 5 to 10 years in a leadership role with preferably experience in the Hotel/Resort/Lifestyle sector
• Ability for lateral and strategic thinking across departments and functions to analyse and understand key issues
• Possesses track record of managing and assuming responsibility for several projects at a time
• Good planning & leadership skills, organizational adaptability & versatility in managing across different cultures
• Creative ability for conceptualisation is required
• Excellent in written & verbal presentation skills
