The group is now entering its next phase of growth and is looking to recruit entrepreneurial and passionate team members to support the business in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and Thailand.Are you ready to accept the challenge of taking up a role as an Accountant in a fast growing group and involving in the implementation of a major ERP System?  You will report to the Financial Controller in Australia.

Accountant

Duties will include:  

 

  • Preparation of month end Accounts for the parent company and subsidiary in Singapore
  • GST Returns reporting to the tax authority
  • Process and system improvements
  • Month end journals
  • Monthly reconciliations of GL and annual reconciliation for Audit
  • Banking transactions and reconciliation
  • Work with Office/International Stock Manager on international stock purchase and sales.
  • Assist in preparation of management reports
  • Intercompany accounts reconciliation and transactions invoicing to group companies in Australia, NZ and Singapore 
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register

 

The ideal Candidate:

 

  • Qualified or nearly qualified accountant
  • 4/5 year experience in small to medium size business
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel
  • Practical knowledge of MYOB multicurrency function is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
