Senior Program / Project (Delivery) Manager – Banking
Our client,one of the top three Banks in Thailand and inarguably one of the mostsuccessful in the region is looking for top caliber candidates to become partof a crme de la crme team to help them prepare for further expansion andfirstly deliver the currently largest Transformation Program in Asia.
This fullservice Bank has over 800 branches across the country, and a number of internationallocations operating from Americas to Asia.
Working out of their state of the art premises in Bangkok, you will be asenior member of a multi-national team partnering with who is who in theFinancial Solutions global vendor space.
Primary Responsibilities:
Accountable for timely onbudget delivery of assigned projects and programs.
Internal and externalrecruitment, mentoring and development of Project staff.
Contract, Performance andCommercial Management of assigned vendors.
Perform on-going Alignment and QualityControl and Assurance of the program including individual project management ofreleases across the program.
Review, manage and report onprogram/project status, dependencies, risk, issues and financials (earned valuereporting) on regular and an integrated fashion across the program.
Pro-active assessment of risks/issuesmust be performed with recommendation(s) to mitigate overall programrisks/issues.
Review and manage the Architecturalalignment of program /project across many (project) releases.
Ensure that effective technicaldisciplines are applied to programs and projects under responsibility such asITIL, CMMI, and applicable methodologies.
Perform on-going managementof and re-alignment of program / project strategy.
Review and manage changerequests and participate in change boards.
Hands on involvement inexecution and update of project/program artifacts as necessary.
Create and maintaindetailed and professional project and program schedules inlcudi9ng logicdiagrams, resource leveling, activity based costing and earned value.
Prepare for, report to andattend project/program meetings.
Work closely with outsourcingorganizations to manage, monitor and negotiate with service providers to ensurethe cost effectiveness, quality and successful delivery of the program.
Perform continuous improvement ofdelivery by working closely with transformation organization to evaluate andre-align the program to maximize business benefit.
Qualification:
Bachelor or Master Degreein Information Technology, MIS or other related to Banking and Finance from areputable and internationally accredited university.
Prior experience in Bankingand Finance Industry.
Familiar with banking andfinance products & services including applications and solutions will be aplus.
Minimum 10+ years experiencein managing delivery of large complex SI program(s).
Have used or very familiarwith international or known PM methods and tools.
PMI or PM related trainingand certification is highly preferable.
Excellent (native or nativelevel) command of English Language written and oral. Command of Thai language would be a plus.

Advanced Level of MicrosoftProject knowledge and experience (hands on).
